21-year-old Nathan is living with advanced melanoma. After being diagnosed in September 2022 and exhausting treatment options, Nathan wanted to share his dream with his family and friends and do something that none of them had experienced before. His dream was to see snow and sit on Australia’s highest point of Mount Kosciuszko via the summit walk.

Nathan, his mum & dad, brother, girlfriend, along with four best mates, and a therapy dog set off from Brisbane for a road trip to the NSW snow fields, stopping in to stay with his grandfather, and see his aunt along the way. Followed by a 22km walk to the summit.

We love Nathan’s dream of scaling the summit, and the amazing memories his dream has made for himself, his friends and family.
