Dreamers, Pam (70) and Ken (69) are both living with advanced cancer. Parents of three, grandparents of seven, and great grandparents of three, they describe their family as “the reason they keep fighting”.

They dreamt of heading away on for weekend for their dream staycation, overlooking Sydney Harbour. It was beautifully timed that the weekend happened to fall on Valentine's Day.

Ken loves the CBD and plans to visit every music store, as that is his passion. Pam is looking forward to relaxing, reading a book and looking out over the beautiful harbour. Both are mostly looking forward to having “some alone time together, to give us the chance to be able to put treatments aside for a little while, and just focus on us”.

Pam said after the dream "You can not imagine the peace that trip has bought to both of us, away from Dr's, treatment and just the stress of everyday life of people suffering with terminal cancer. From the bottom of our hearts we thankyou for our very special weekend."
