Matt, our 55-year-old Dreamer from country Victoria, was so excited when he visualised his Dream. To take his four brothers – or his “Brothers Grim as he calls them” away on a deep-sea fishing charter. Each year Matt and his brothers, who share a passion for fishing, camp out in the middle of the bush and just unwind, relax, catch fish, and enjoy each other’s company. Every time they are away, Matt says they seem to experience the funniest 'adventures' or the something goes wrong...in the funniest of ways. Matt said There's no pity or sorrow from them when we are together, it’s just "stop your sulking and get on with life, we have stuff to do before you go anywhere.

Since his diagnosis 18 months ago of advanced cancer - his four brothers have tirelessly helped him around the farm, collecting firewood, running errands. He said, “I can never repay them for what they do for me and my family, and the thing is they never would look for any favour in return...it’s just the amazing unspoken brotherly bond that we all share that makes it so special. These boys will be the backbone of my family when I have gone, and it’s a chore that they each accept fully and lovingly."

This year, with some help from Dreams2Live4, Matt supercharged their trip - arranging a week in Queensland and some deep-sea fishing off Airlie Beach.
