To have meaningful, uninterrupted time together, was Monique's dream
I want my daughters to remember joy. I want them to remember adventures. I want photos filled with happiness and love. Most of all, I want meaningful, uninterrupted time together. That is my dream.”
These are the words of Monique; however, her words echo the sentiment of many of our Dreamers - uninterrupted time together with loved ones - when cancer has taken so much away.
Monique is a 35-year-old wife and mother of two young girls – who has been living with a diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer for the past year. She describes life since diagnoses as a “constant cycle of appointments, scans, biopsies, radiation and chemotherapy.”
Monique also said of her dream for a special family trip “what matters most is stepping away from hospitals and treatment schedules and simply being a family, laughing, exploring, and creating memories that outshine the hard days.”
That is the Dream to live for; made possible with the support of Lumus Imaging.
