Check out our lovely Dreamer Barbara, 76, living out her dream and meeting her heroes 'Travel Guides'.

Barbara is living with advanced cancer and said "My dream is to meet my heroes on Channel 9's Travel Guides because I love them so much and all I wanted to do is just meet them. This dream gave me something to look forward to, and excited me in anticipation which I have not felt since being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer."

When the Travel Guides were in town altogether before the 65th Annual TV Week Logie Awards in 2025; Dreams2Live4 with LOTS of help from the wonderful Channel 9 made Barbara's dream come true.

With Barbara meeting all the stars of Travel Guides – Kevin and Janetta, Matt and Brett, Karly and Bri, the Fren Family and best mates Kev, Teng and Dorian.

"You're my heroes from TV, it's lovely to meet you and it's just a dream come true," said Barbara as she met Kev, Teng and Dorian of whom she said "everything the boys do is funny".

Barb's daughters Katrina and Tash joined her for the meet and greet. With Barbara even swapping numbers with the stars and according to Barbara's daughters, Katrina and Tash, their mum hasn't stopped talking about the night since.

"I think it's the best show on TV," Barbara smiled. "The people on it are absolutely amazing. They're just wonderful. My wish of meeting the Fren family from the Travel Guides far exceeded my expectations/wish as they surprisingly organised the entire cast. If it wasn’t for Louise Dreams2live4 and Karen from Channel 9 I would have never experienced this feeling of joy and the happiness it brought me. I’m forever grateful for this opportunity thank you so much."
