Dreams2Live4 – The Story - Dreams2Live4
Jeremy and his daughter

Dreams2Live4 gives adults with terminal cancer an experience they've only ever dreamed of.

Founded in 2007 by breast cancer patient, Annie Robinson. Annie believed in treating the soul as well as the disease and was determined to live her life full of hope. She experienced the inaugural dream of Dreams2Live4 by singing with Human Nature.

Annie had a vision for fellow adult terminal cancer patients.

She wanted other patients who were trapped in a regime of tests, treatments and bad news to find their way back to joy again. Annie started something very very special that continues to grow each and every day – giving people something to look forward to with hope, happiness and connection. A feeling of empowerment that their dream came true.

Sadly, Annie passed away in 2009 from advanced breast cancer. Her sister, Louise Mahoney (CEO and Dream Maker at Dreams2Live4), continues Annie’s legacy and is constantly inspired and humbled by the beautiful people they help every day.

For the people at Dreams2Live4 (often described as ‘Make a Wish’ or 'Starlight' for adults),
it is an absolute honour to provide wonderful unique and precious experiences for adults 17 years and over who are living with stage 4, advanced or metastatic cancer.

At Dreams2Live4, we create moments of magic for people living with advanced or terminal cancer. A dream might be a wedding, a family reunion, a few days by the sea, or even soaring through the sky in a hot air balloon. Whatever the dream, it offers precious relief from the weight of cancer – a chance for joy, hope, and something beautiful to look forward to.

We are the only charity in Australia dedicated to making dreams come true for adults aged 17 and over with terminal cancer.

Every dream is a story of love, courage, and connection, and every dream is made possible because of the generosity of people like you.

These moments become treasured memories, not only for the Dreamer but for their loved ones too – a gift of hope and connection that lasts far beyond the dream itself.

There’s a special kind of hope that comes with dreaming – the excitement of imagining something wonderful, the joy of planning it, and the anticipation of seeing it come to life.

For people living with terminal cancer – a dream offers more than just a moment of happiness.

It brings comfort, strength, and a sense of wellbeing that lingers long after the dream is fulfilled.

Dreams2Live4 is available only to individuals living in Australia.

Experiences that have been loved and lived by our dreamers.

There’s power in creating meaningful moments. All it takes is a dream to create a truly unique experience.
