Scootering around town

"Thanks to Dreams2Live4 I am independent again!"The impact of cancer can be felt in so many ways. The side effects of chemo and other medications meant that Denise couldn’t drive any more.

“I lost all my independence, I couldn’t just hop in car to visit friends or go see my kids and grandkids without relying on my husband to take me,” said Denise.“I was stuck at home. Depression became huge for me.”

Denise's dream to regain her independence was granted when Dream Maker Ashleigh arranged for a motorised scooter to be delivered.“When I got my scooter, I took myself to the shops. I looked around all the shops and I stopped for a coffee.”

“You could not make my smile any bigger. This has changed my life in such a positive way.'

“I am so happy and grateful and can’t thank you enough,” Denise added.
