Sadra is a young man originally from Iran who is now living with advanced cancer. He told us of the physical and mental toll that cancer has inflicted on him; and on his partner who has become his carer, and sole support.
After each chemo treatment Sadra has had to receive emergency hospitalisations. Sadra said “We’re both exhausted, I don’t know how much longer we can keep going like this.”
Sadra was dreaming of a break for the pair – “a chance to reset, to breathe again, and to hold on to something positive.”
