Mum always loved coming over that hill from Mona Vale
Fay’s dream was to go to her beloved Newport Beach one last time. Her Dream Maker, Louise, swung into action and the next day she was at the edge of Newport Beach with some of her loved ones by her side.
“It was always with great expectation that we set off down Mona Vale Road. For mum, it was always just about being on the beach,” said Fay’s son, Mark.
“Mum always loved coming over that hill from Mona Vale, of which she always stopped at to get an ice cream,” added her son, Craig.
For the Rechner family, summer at the beach meant everything. From lime splice ice-creams to chasing seagulls, these humble traditions stretched from parent to children to grandchildren.
“Mum and dad loved heading to the beach with the grandchildren in tow. Many photos were taken at Newport Beach of happy children giggling with their grandparents,” said her daughter, Genevieve.
“I truly want to thank Dreams2Live4 from the bottom of my heart for creating such a beautiful and caring day for mum,” writes Genevieve.
