Western Australian based Melanie was just 30 when diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.

Melanie had always dreamt of owning her own home but after diagnosis struggled with whether her dream was still ‘valid’. With the support of loved ones around her and after realising how precious and important it is to keep chasing your dreams Melanie has recently become a homeowner.

Dreams2Live4 and valued partner Retravision has helped make her new home, a sanctuary to come back to as she continues her treatment.

Melanie says “Dreams2Live4 supported me as I realised my goal of home ownership. In my head, beautiful new white goods would help me feel truly settled in my first home, as they would be new items to the property (like me!) and they would see me through for a good long time - meaning, I wouldn't have to worry about having a pre-loved white good suddenly decide to stop working, and wondering how I would financially support the purchase of a replacement. The knowledge that these items are new and will support my needs on a day-to-day basis is a huge relief, as it means I can focus my energy on other things.”

She added” I absolutely love my appliances - it brings my joy whenever my washing machine has finished and it songs me a song; whenever I switch on the TV; and whenever I want a lovely cool drink on a hot summer night.
