David's dream to play with the dogs
David, our Dreamer from Melbourne is living with advanced brain cancer. He loves his dogs, having raised four labradors (and a kelpie!) together with his wife Leonie.
His dream was to meet the guide dog puppies, to play with them and hear how they train them. Guide Dogs Victoria certainly came up with the puppies, with David and Leonie having a "magical visit", which resulted in one little two-day-old puppy being named David!
The wonderful people at the Guide Dogs saying, "We feel it is an appropriately strong name for the little one, and as he grows, we will be sure to share updates and photos with you so you can watch him thrive. We hope this brings a lasting connection to appropriately reflect David's love of dogs, and his obvious calming presence with them".
