46-year-old Damien travelled to Queensland from South Australia to visit his 11 year old daughter when he started to feel ill, a diagnosis of advanced cancer was not what anybody wanted to hear.

After the diagnosis Damien has needed to stay in Queensland for medical treatment so Damien’s 20 year old son travelled up to Queensland to join his Dad and Damien said “It's been such a difficult time. I am trying to stay positive and focused on what's important in my life, spending time with my son and my daughter and making some special memories. I have a dream of having a fun filled day, to make positive memories to remember me by.”

Damien and his family had a great time at Aussie World with fun on the rides, enjoying each other’s company and making those special memories.
