Dugald had a dream to meet podcaster and former AFL player Daniel Gorringe
“Death is different for all of us. I have thought about death a lot. The time between knowing when you are going to die and dying more specifically. I feel very lucky to know I am going to die and get to think long and hard about it. Even though at times it is arduous and doesn’t feel real. It is being shaped into a beautiful, funny, dark, and loving experience full of reflection. And hey, maybe cancer won’t get me. Wouldn’t that be ironic?”
These are words from our 31-year-old Dreamer Dugald who shares his cancer journey on his blog https://dugald.substack.com/ to raise awareness of his cancer type NF1 MPNST.
Dugald had a dream to meet podcaster and former AFL player Daniel Gorringe, and we are super grateful to Dan for visiting Dug at Victorian hospital Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and being so generous with his time. With thanks to our friend Kath Loughnan for her support.
