Tania, who is living with stage 4 ovarian cancer, wanted to attend Knotfest Australia in Brisbane, and needed some help with accommodation for her and her family. She was desperate to meet American heavy metal band Disturbed. Tania told us that: “Disturbed has helped me heaps with going through my cancer. Their songs and attitude the band portrays just resonated with me while I've been going through chemotherapy.”

And meet she did...with lead singer David Draiman and the band going going out of their way…having Tania and her husband watch the show on stage, and then invited Tania up to tell her story. Tania tells us it was one of the best days of her life.
