Dianne contacted us with a dream that she wanted to do her way. Her dream was to have a video message recorded at the beach with photos overlayed and memories to be shared - to be played at her funeral. Passing away a few months after it was recorded her daughter Jaeme wrote to us afterwards and said.

“We had just said Goodbye after a beautiful prayer and song in Palliative care with some beautiful Mauri singers.

When coming back to her apartment something drew me into look at her jewellery in her top draw – I found a pocket with a note, three USB’s and a feather for myself and mums two best friends (Jan & Shaz).  I messaged the girls and asked if we could watch together.

We had no idea what was on it – or that this was her last wish. I had tried to ask her what her wish would be as I was trying to arrange something, but she ALWAYS did things her own way – she did it for us, not us for her.

It was sad, beautiful, and was so her.  It was already arranged (like everything else) to have it played at her funeral services in VIC & QLD.

I made copies for my brothers and look out for her signs daily; it was such a beautiful gift she was given."
