Greg's Dream

When Greg was diagnosed with terminal cancer in January he realised that his dream to go on safari in Africa was going to be just that - a dream.  Dreams2Live4 put the wheels in motion and organised for Greg and his partner to spend a few days at Jamala Wildlife Lodge.

As the holiday drew closer, Greg’s condition was rapidly deteriorating but there was no way he was missing this trip. He was going to do everything to make it happen!

"Greg’s will and determination to see this dream come true allowed him to enjoy what was an amazing mini-safari," said his partner.

“Greg had an amazing time. He was able to tour the zoo, riding on a motorised scooter, stopping along the way to feed the lions, giraffes and bears, mess around with the meerkats, as well as supervise the lemurs who were only a pane of glass away from where Greg was sleeping.  For the first time in what felt like a long time, he had an enormous smile on his face.”
