Leonie who is living with advanced cancer told us "I have always wanted - my whole life - to attend the Christmas Eve Carols by Candlelight in Melbourne with my family. This dream, to create these kinds of memories, isn't just for the dying, it's more for the family I will leave behind, my husband of 23 years, two daughters aged 18 and 20. Thankyou so much for making my dream come true."

Through the generosity of our Christmas campaign supporters, with some help from our valued friends at Channel 9, on Christmas Eve 2024 Leonie, her husband, two daughters and a close family friend and her family were able to enjoy Vision Australia's, Carols By Candlelight at the Melbourne Myer Music Bowl.
