Pamela had never been to an All Blacks game.
Pamela is a 64-year-old New Zealand born mother of 4, and grandmother of 5. She told us that when she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer her children told her to make a bucket list “but you know what I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to do. To me, I have lived a good life, I have seen my children grow up, and seen them have children, what more do I need?”
But one day she mentioned that she had never seen an All Blacks game, telling us she was bought up in an era where girls didn’t play or watch rugby. So, her daughter Kaela bought her tickets as a Mothers Day present for the recent All Blacks vs Wallabies match in Sydney.
Her dream was then for help with flights and accommodation in Sydney, whilst she ticked an item off her bucket list.
We are sure she would have been chuffed with the result as well!
