Meet the fabulous Kerri - or better known as Aunty Kez. With 31 Nieces and nephews and 36 great nieces and nephews - Aunty Kez's love is the glue in this family.
"I have never been fortunate enough to have my own children and for my entire life my family and the children have been the centre of my universe, the reason I get out of bed each day, the reason I keep going now, the reason I stay positive when the future doesn't look as bright as it used to.Imagine them all in one room, chaos, but I wouldn't have it any other way." - Kerrie
Aunty Kez's dream was to spend time with her family. But they all have busy lives. So she came up with a very precious dream. With the help of Dreams2Live4 Kerrie booked a cabin at Easts Beach BIG 4 Holiday Park in Kiama and invited all the family to drop in. They all came from far and wide to make Aunty Kez's dream come true.
"Since my diagnosis I have dreamt of the possibility of a cabin near the beach that I can stay and relax in, have my family and friends come and go and whilst we create new memories, share stories of times gone by with all the younger generations. I'm sure they don't believe us when we tell the kids of today, 12 of us all lived happily in a 3 bedroom house for years, as many big families did back then.
"I am so grateful to Dreams2Live4 and the generous souls who donate to help cancer patients. Such kindness in the world is a very precious gift," said Kerri.
