Cherie, a 42-year-old, mother of three, and a grandmother to two, has been on a cancer journey since 2021. She shared with us that she's always wanted to take her kids to The Royal Easter Show in Sydney, but now that was a bit too far for the whole family. Instead, she dreamt of taking them to the Newcastle Show to relive the fun and enjoyment she had as a child when her parents, and grandparents, took her. Cherie was really looking forward to seeing her family go on rides, see the farm animals, watch the stunt shows, and experience all the excitement that a show has to offer including the fireworks and show bags! Cherie said “I think they'll be thrilled, and I can't wait to see the joy on their faces”.
