A decade of making dreams come true
Watch this video to see more about the Power of a Dream, showcasing how in 2005 our founder Annie Robinson appeared on Andrew Denton’s ABC programme ‘Enough Rope’ and talked about her dream to sing as a backing singer for supergroup Human Nature. In 2007 this amazing dream came true, after Annie had singing lessons with Marcia Hines. Annie then wanted others to experience the power of dreams and set up Dreams2Live4 as an in-hospital program. Whilst Annie passed away in 2009, her sister Louise carried on her work, and in 2015 Dreams2Live4 became a nationwide charity.

On Saturday 6 September 2025, Dreams2Live4 celebrated our 10th anniversary as a national charity with a Gala event hosted by Phil Burton, of Human Nature. In a heartwarming moment Bill Robinson, Annie's son accompanied Phil as he sung the song that Annie performed years earlier - "Every time you cry".

Marcia Hines also made a special guest appearance and a dazzling performance at the event; with Andrew Denton opening proceedings.

In the past decade we have received over 5,000 applications from patients living with terminal cancer, from all over Australia. and last month (August 2025) made a dream come true every 24 hours. See a selection of those dreams here.
Our 10th Anniversary Gala was an important milestone in our fundraising efforts to make dreams come true for the next decade, with over 350 guests attending, donations received on the night, silent auctions and a raffle.
